Food Bank and Clothes Closet
Our Food Bank and Clothes Closet are two ministries we have to help reach those in our Athens community. This is an opportunity for us to take the blessings God has given us and turn around and bless those less fortunate. Whether you have been blessed or are in need, we would invite everyone to be a part of these two ministries in some capacity. We are always taking donations and would love to help those who are in need.

Missions
As a church our goal is to be missional in and around Athens, and nation as well as the world. We believe that it is a call of our God to take the gospel to the world and those around us.
Every summer we try to take at least one mission trip as a church. Every spring break our college ministry teams up with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at the University of Georgia to take a large team of college students and pastors . This summer our college ministry will also be taking a missions trip to Nicaragua.
Cycling
This is one of the newest and most exciting ministries we have as a church. Our location is a prime location for Athens cyclists to meet and park their cars as they go out into the community to bike on the very flat terrain with bike lanes and bike paths.
We have recently renovated part of our smaller building to be equipped with bathrooms and changing rooms for bikers along with a water fountain and a pump for anyone who needs to add air to their tires. This is an extremely exciting and practical way for us to reach out to the people around us and share the love of Christ with all.
