Our youth ministry meets Sunday mornings for Sunday School and Wednesday Night for services and includes students ranging from 6th grade to 12th grade.
Youth Sunday School Class
There are two youth Sunday School classes, a high school class led by Brandt Akin and Clay Carlyle and a middle school girls class led by Amy Lamb. The youth also meet every Wednesday for fun and games and Biblical teaching. This service also sometimes provides music and worship. The youth group also holds planned events once or twice a month to get together outside of church and have fun and build lasting friendships with each other.

Youth Pastor Bio
Our Youth Pastor is Brandt Akin. Brandt is a 23 year old graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in History. Brandt currently heads up the Youth and College ministries at the church and really enjoys student ministry. He has served as a Youth Minister before at Grace Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, Ga and now at Oconee Heights Baptist Church. God has placed a call on his life to do ministry and Oconee Heights has been the perfect place for him to continue living out that calling.
